Tile wedges are an integral part of tile levelling to ensure smooth professional results in flat tile installations. Tile levelling kits are often made up of clips and tile wedges. The wedges have been designed to easily connect with clips, and their triangular form also lends them strength to hold the bond. Wedges go in the keyhole space of inserted clips, with the above row of teeth connecting with the clip to create a firm grip.
For added strength and firmness, tilers normally also use traction adjustable pliers to tighten the bond.
